Add & Manage Daycare Services
Set up daycare services by defining your daycare spaces, capacity, eligible pets, booking options, and pricing.
Before creating a daycare service, make sure your Pet Types and Daycare Rooms are configured in Settings.
Set Up Pet Types
Go to Settings > Pet Types to select the types of pets your business accepts, such as dogs, cats, or other animals.
You can also configure weight ranges for the pets your business services.

Add a Daycare Room
Go to Settings > Rooms & Spaces and add a Daycare Room.
Add the room name and select the services that can be booked in the room. You can also add:
A description
Staff members who oversee the room
A photo to display in Online Booking
Add Units
If the room contains individual spaces, such as kennels, add each unit and give it a name.
For open daycare rooms without individual units, units are not required.
Set Pet Eligibility
Select which Pet Types can be booked in the room.
You can further limit eligibility by restricting specific breeds or using Pet Tags.
Pet Tags can be created and managed under Settings > Tags.
Set Room Capacity
Choose how capacity should be calculated for the room:
Total Count: Set the maximum number of pets allowed in the room.
Pet Size: Set capacity based on pet size, including combinations of different sizes.
Total Pet Weight: Set the maximum combined weight of all pets in the room.
Weight Range: Set the maximum number of pets allowed within a specific weight range.
Save the room once your settings are complete.
Add a Daycare Service
Go to Services > Daycare and select Add Service.
Choose the Pet Types eligible for the service. For businesses with multiple locations, select the locations where the service is offered.
Add Service Details
Add the service name and an optional description, then configure:
Drop-off window
Pick-up window
Service color
Online Booking availability
Add Custom Forms
Attach a Custom Form if you need to collect additional information from pet parents when the service is booked.
Forms attached to the service are automatically sent to the pet parent each time the service is booked.
Assign Rooms
Select the daycare room or rooms where the service can be booked.
Set Pricing
Choose the pricing structure for the daycare service:
Fixed Price
Hourly
Half-Day
Full-Day
For half-day and full-day pricing, set the maximum length of stay included in the service.
Late Pickup Fees
For services with a defined length of stay, you can add a late pickup fee.
Late pickup fees can be charged per hour or as an additional half-day. You can also set a grace period before the fee applies.
Taxes
If the service is taxable, enable Taxable Service and select the applicable tax rate.
Tax rates are managed under Business Settings.
