Using Cuddles: Staff Quick Guide


This is a quick reference for groomers and front desk staff using Cuddles.

It covers the most common day-to-day tasks, including booking appointments, checking out clients, and viewing pet and client information.

Use this guide alongside short videos to get comfortable in Cuddles quickly.


Getting started

Getting around in Cuddles

When staff log in to Cuddles, they can use the left sidebar to move between the main areas they’ll use throughout the day:

  • Bookings — An agenda-style view of upcoming appointments

  • Calendar — A calendar view of the schedule

  • Clients — A searchable list of clients and pets

These views show the same information in different ways, so staff can work from whichever view feels most comfortable.

New appointments can be created from Bookings, Calendar, or Clients.

Appointments

Booking appointments

You can book appointments directly from Bookings, Calendar, or a pet profile

Typical steps include:

  • Selecting a client and pet

  • Choosing services and staff

  • Setting the date and time

  • Saving the appointment

Updating and managing appointments

Appointments can be updated if details change.

From an existing appointment, you can:

  • Edit services, staff, or timing

  • Reschedule or cancel appointments

  • Add internal notes if needed

Viewing the schedule

Use the schedule to stay on top of daily and upcoming appointments.

From the schedule view, you can:

  • Switch between day and week views

  • Quickly see staff availability

  • Click into appointments for more details


Checkout & payments

Running checkout

Checkout typically starts from an appointment once services are complete.

During checkout, you can:

  • Review services and totals

  • Confirm client and pet details

  • Apply any adjustments if needed

  • Accept payment

  • Add or adjust tips

  • Complete the transaction

Client & pet profiles

Accessing client and pet information

Client and pet profiles store important details you’ll reference often.

From a profile, you can:

  • View contact information

  • See pet details and history

  • Review past appointments


Adding notes and preferences

Notes and preferences help provide consistent care.

Use notes to:

  • Record grooming preferences

  • Flag sensitivities or behavior notes

  • Share important context with the team
