Create promo codes to attract new clients, boost bookings, or promote special offers.

Promo codes are best for marketing-driven promotions like new client offers, holiday specials, or announcing a new service. Clients enter a promo code during online booking (Coming Soon) or checkout to receive a dollar or percentage-based discount.


Promo codes vs discounts


Use promo codes when:

  • Clients should enter a code themselves

  • You’re running a promotion or campaign

  • The discount applies during online booking


Use discounts when:

  • Discounts should apply automatically

  • Pricing rules are ongoing

  • Discounts depend on client type or number of pets

Both tools offer flexible pricing — they’re just used at different moments.



Create a promo code

  1. Go to Marketing

  2. Click + Add Promo Code

  3. Enter:

    • The promo code clients will use

    • Discount type (dollar or percentage)

    • Start date

  4. (Optional) Add an end date for limited-time promotions

  5. Choose whether the promo code can be used during online booking

  6. Click Save

Once enabled, the promo code is ready to use.


How promo codes are applied

  • Clients can enter promo codes during online booking (Coming Soon)

  • Promo codes can also be applied during checkout

  • The discount is applied automatically to the total


Best practices

  • Use short, easy-to-remember codes

  • Set end dates for seasonal promotions

  • Disable online booking if the code is staff-only

  • Review active promo codes regularly
