Memberships & Packages

Overview

Memberships and Packages help you increase retention and create predictable revenue. Use subscriptions for recurring billing and packages for prepaid service bundles.


Creating & Managing Memberships

Go to Services → Memberships.

From this page, you can create new memberships, manage existing plans, and track performance.

Click + Add Membership to create a new plan.

  1. Enter a name and optional description

  2. Choose Subscription or Package

  3. Set billing (for subscriptions) or expiration (for packages)

  4. Add included services, add-ons, products, or discounts

  5. Set the total price and click Save

Your membership will now appear in your list.


Selling a Membership

You can sell memberships from:

  • Services → Memberships

  • Clients → Sold Memberships

To sell:

  1. Select the client

  2. Choose which pet(s) it applies to

  3. Select the membership

  4. Set the start (and end, if applicable) date

  5. Complete checkout

For subscriptions, a credit card on file is required for recurring billing.

If you use a membership agreement, you can send it from the client’s profile or under Clients → Agreements.


Redeeming at Checkout

If a client has an active membership, click Add Membership during checkout and select the plan to apply it to the appointment.

Remaining usage updates automatically.


Viewing Membership Activity

From the Memberships page, you can:

  • View Active, Inactive, or All plans

  • See subscriber counts and cancellations

  • Click into a membership to view client details and total sales

Under Clients → Sold Memberships, you can:

  • Filter by Active, Pending, Past Due, or Canceled

  • Search for specific clients

  • View usage details

  • Cancel memberships if needed

This gives you visibility into membership growth, cancellations, and overall revenue impact.


Best Practices
  • Clearly communicate savings compared to individual bookings.

  • Train staff to mention memberships at checkout.

  • Review subscriber counts monthly.

  • Follow up on past-due or canceled memberships.

Recurring memberships help stabilize revenue and increase client loyalty.
