Grooming Schedule Types
Cuddles offers two scheduling methods for grooming businesses. Choose the option that best fits how your team schedules appointments.
Choose a Schedule Type
Navigate to Settings.
Select Schedule Type.
Choose one of the following scheduling methods.
Work Schedule
Work Schedule is ideal for businesses that book one-on-one grooming appointments.
Appointment availability is based on:
Staff availability
Services each staff member performs
Note: This primarily affects online booking. Staff can still override availability when booking appointments from the dashboard.
Slot Scheduling
Slot Scheduling allows you to define how many pets each groomer can accept during specific times of the day.
This option is ideal for businesses that schedule group drop-off times.
For example:
5 pets at 8:00 AM
4 pets at 12:00 PM
Once a time slot reaches capacity, clients will no longer be able to book that slot online.
Set Up Default Slots
To configure slot scheduling:
Click Set Up Default Slots.
Select a staff member.
Configure available slots for each day of the week.
Set the number of pets allowed for each time slot.
Click Save.
Repeat these steps for each staff member who accepts grooming appointments.
Grooming Calendar
The Grooming Calendar displays appointments by:
Day
Week
Month
Staff member
When using Slot Scheduling, you’ll also be able to:
View booked pets versus available slots
Toggle the Slots View
See remaining capacity for each time slot
Adjust slot capacity as needed throughout the day
This makes it easy to monitor availability and manage your grooming schedule.
