How do you add retail products?

On the Products page (🏷️), click the yellow Add Product button at the top right of your screen.

From there, you have two options:

  • Manually enter the product information (name, price, taxes, etc.)

  • Click on Lookup Product in the upper right corner of the Product Details section.

If you choose to enter all product details manually follow these steps:

  1. Enter the product's name, brand, and manufacturer in the correlating fields.

  2. Enter the barcode (optional).

  3. Choose a category for the product (optional).

  4. Provide a detailed description of the product, including its features and benefits (optional).

  5. Select if the product is Available for checkout. If this step is skipped, the product will not appear in your drop-down list when trying to add products to a sale. 

  6. Enter the Retail Price.

  7. Add any applicable Taxes for this product. (*This can be edited in your Settings ⚙️)

  8. If you consistently purchase the product from the same vendor, you can add the Vendor name and wholesale cost by clicking the green Vendor button in the bottom right corner of the page.

  9. Finally, scroll to the top of the page and click the yellow Save button.
