Add & Edit Retail Products

Add retail products to Cuddles and manage product details, pricing, taxes, categories, vendors, and checkout availability.

Add a Product

1. Navigate to Products from the left-side menu.

2. Click + Add Product in the upper-right corner.

3. Choose how you’d like to add the product:

   • Lookup Product to search for an existing product and automatically populate its details.

   • Enter the product information manually.

Look Up a Product

To quickly add an existing retail product:

1. Click Lookup Product in the upper-right corner of the Product Details section.

2. Search for the product by name or barcode.

3. Cuddles will search Amazon for matching products. Find the correct product, select it, and click Continue.

4. Available product details will automatically populate in the appropriate fields.

5. Review the information and make any changes or additions as needed.

Enter a Product Manually

Enter the information you’d like to track for the product, including:

• Product Name

• Brand

• Manufacturer

• Barcode (optional)

• Category (optional)

• Description (optional)

• Retail Price

• Taxes

Turn on Available for Checkout if you want the product to appear when adding items to a sale. If this setting is turned off, the product will not be available during checkout.

Add Vendor Information

If you purchase the product from a specific vendor, select Vendor to add the vendor and wholesale cost.

Save Your Product

Once you’ve reviewed the product information, click Save at the top of the page.

Edit a Product

To update an existing product, navigate to Products and select the product you want to edit. Make your changes and click Save.

Tax rates can be created and managed under Settings → Sales → Taxes.
